SCIENCE FAIR ANNOUNCEMENT

Officials at LSU have announced that the Region VII and Louisiana state science and engineering fairs have been rescheduled on the LSU campus as originally planned. In early January, the fairs were canceled due to mid-year budget cuts, but financial support from community organizations made reinstatement of the fairs possible.

Applicants who registered for the science fairs that were to be held at Kenilworth Science and Technology School by the Pelican Educational Foundation have been redirected to the web pages of the Region VII and Louisiana state science and engineering fairs at www.outreach.lsu.edu/lsef in order to register for the fairs at LSU.

2010 Region 7 Science and Engineering Fair:
• Junior Division Saturday, February 27 - Sunday, February 28
• Senior Division Sunday, February 28 - Monday, March 1

2010 Louisiana State Science and Engineering Fair:
• Junior Division Sunday, March 28 - Monday, March 29
• Senior Division Monday, March 29 - Tuesday, March 30
